Xiaomi Smart Band 11: What’s Confirmed So Far and What’s Still Rumored

Xiaomi’s Smart Band series has built its reputation on affordable fitness tracking with battery life that puts pricier competitors to shame. The eleventh generation is now taking shape, but not all at once. One model has already launched globally, while the flagship standard version is still working its way through leaks and regulatory filings.
Here’s a clear breakdown of what’s confirmed, what’s rumored, and what to expect next.
What’s Already Confirmed: Smart Band 11 Active
Xiaomi has officially confirmed and launched the Smart Band 11 Active for the global market, positioning it as the successor to the Smart Band 10 with a stronger focus on sports and fitness.
The confirmed specs include a 1.47-inch TFT display with 172 x 320 pixel resolution, a 247 PPI pixel density, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The case measures 43.5 x 25.8 x 10.2mm and carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating, though Xiaomi notes it isn’t intended for diving, hot showers, or sauna use. Battery life is the headline feature, rated at up to 21 days on a single charge.
Health tracking on the Active covers the basics: heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), step counting, sleep quality, and stress monitoring, alongside more than 50 sports modes. Notably absent are GPS and NFC, both left out deliberately to keep the price down. The screen technology is also a step behind: it uses TFT/LCD rather than AMOLED, which most competitors in the same price range have already adopted.
What’s Still Rumored: The Standard Smart Band 11
The standard Smart Band 11, and a separate NFC variant, have not yet received an official announcement as of late August 2026. What’s known so far comes entirely from regulatory filings and leaks rather than Xiaomi itself.
Two models believed to be the standard and NFC versions cleared radio approval in China in early June, followed by related certifications in Taiwan and the UAE. That regulatory trail strongly suggests a global rollout is coming, following the same pattern Xiaomi used for the Smart Band 10.
Leaked specifications, still unconfirmed by Xiaomi, point to a larger 1.78-inch AMOLED display with around 2,200 nits of peak brightness, HRV monitoring, body-temperature sensing, EDA-assisted stress tracking, and a barometer. Other rumored additions include recovery scoring, over 200 sports modes, and fast charging capable of powering roughly three days of use from just ten minutes on the charger. Battery life is expected to hold steady at around 21 days, in line with recent generations.
When Will It Launch
Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed a launch date for the standard Smart Band 11. Based on the regulatory timeline and Xiaomi’s usual pattern of announcing in China before expanding globally, a reveal window in the second half of 2026 looks likely, with some industry watchers pointing to a possible tie-in around IFA in early September. Nothing here is official yet, so treat specific dates as working estimates rather than confirmed information.
Smart Band 11 Active vs. What’s Rumored for the Standard Model
The gap between the two tiers looks meaningful based on what’s known right now. The Active leans budget-first, cutting GPS, NFC, and AMOLED to hit an accessible price point, while the rumored standard Smart Band 11 is shaping up as the more complete health and fitness package, with a larger AMOLED display, broader sensor suite, and faster charging.
For anyone deciding between the two, the Active is the safer choice today since it’s actually available. Anyone who wants a brighter AMOLED display, GPS, or more advanced health metrics may prefer to wait for the standard model’s official announcement before buying.
